Emirates Oncology & Hematology Nursing Society (EOHNS)

The Emirates Oncology & Hematology Nursing Society (EOHNS) is a non-profit champion voluntary group focused on promoting oncology nursing and sharing knowledge obtained from international resources among different oncology nurses within UAE hospitals who provide nursing care to oncology patients.
Vision: To transform and share standard cancer knowledge among oncology nurses.
Mission: To promote excellence within UAE oncology nursing practice, high quality of care, and evidence-based clinical practice supported by EOHNS for cancer patients and their families to improve their care. Consequently, that will improve patients’ outcomes and satisfaction. We will be serving as a model for developing the future of the oncology nursing specialty within the UAE.
Core values: Integrity, advocacy, and excellence in promoting quality cancer care
Other aims: To strengthen nurses’ knowledge through connecting and networking with one another and to help nurses to prepare for professional oncology nursing certification. Society will share knowledge in clinical practice, education, and research outcomes through identifying the gaps or weakness in clinical practice. Expected outcomes are personal growth and empowerment, as well as changes in practice and education.

Accreditation Statement

The Hematology Live Online Education, made available on https://hematologylive.online/ and organized by Meeting Minds Experts, is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists.

 

Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Only those e-learning materials that are displayed on the UEMSEACCME website have formally been accredited.

 

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
